Sara Singh has drawn for as long as she can remember. "My goal," she says, "is to be able to draw what I envision." Singh's fluid illustrations are primarily executed in watercolor and ink and she admits to being a perfectionist about anatomy: "I'm very concerned about getting hands and feet," she says.
Currently based in New York, Sara Singh grew up among places as varied as London, Stockholm, Plant City, and New Orleans. She has a degree in fashion design from Beckman's College of Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Her work has appeared in Vogue Nippon, American Vogue, Vogue Pelle (Italy), and the European editions of Elle. Corporate clients include Jil Sander, Philip Morris, Bloomingdale’s, Mikimoto and Givenchy.
She enjoys traveling to other large cities. ‘’I hunt for interesting furniture, objects or vintage dresses at markets and thrift shops the world over. It’s a bit of an obsession.’’
